Wilma Jean Mcfadden Martino

Wilma Jean McFadden Martino, age 85, of Erie, residing at Wesbury Retirement Home in Meadville, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016. She was born in Erie on January 18, 1931, daughter of the late Lee and Alice Horton.

Jean was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was past president on LWML. She was a secretary with Otis Elevators until her retirement. Jean's lifelong love was painting flowers and scenery and enjoyed ceramics and gardening.

Jean is survived by one daughter, Cherryl Gaus, of Meaville; two sons, Patrick McFadden (Sue), of Onalaska, WI and Michael McFadden (Diane), of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Betty Myers; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis McFadden; her second husband, Don Martino; her sisters, Lucille, and Lyral; and her brothers, Alfred, Paul and Norman.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 pm. Interment, North East Cemetery.
