William L. Horton

William L. Horton, age 72, of Greene Twp, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. He was born in Erie on January 28, 1944, son of the late Donald and Ruth Hoover Horton.

Bill was employed at Calsicat Chemical prior to a disability retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, bowling and NASCAR. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Pennsylvania National Guard.

He is survived by his fiancee, Barbara Pliett; children, Norrina Rogers, Rhonda Guzowski (Philip), Mae Gibson (Stanley), Karla Howard (Ernie), Jennifer Wroblewski (Michael), Brian Horton (Sue), John Horton (Lana) and Sheela Horton; step-children, Jim Wicker (Lisa), Dawn Wicker, Angel Dalton (Floyd), Traci TeBalt (Bill), Jackie Learn (Marty), Kelly Tokarczyk (Joe), Rick Feathers (Judygayle), Richie and Holly; two sisters, Lynnette Chambers (Ray), and Gina Kidder (Michael); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one sister, Janeth Dolan Amendola; and one brother, Donald E. Horton.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Tuesday at 10 am conducted by Rev. Richard Moyer. Military honors will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery conducted by the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571. Memorial contributions may be designated to the family through the funeral home.
