Vyacheslav Arutyunyan Obituary (1984 - 2024)

Vyacheslav "Slava" Arutyunyan, age 40, of Erie, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born in Azerbaijan, Baku on February 21, 1984, son of Arthur and Elizaveta Arutyunyan. Slava enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, vacationing and watching football. He was hardworking and always the life of the party. Slava served the community as a police officer in his younger years right after the police academy and then decided to take partnership of a pizza shop, where everyone knew and loved him. He was known for making funny jokes and had the kindest heart in helping others. In addition to his parents, Slava is survived by one sister, Elena Akopyan (Arsen); one brother, Alexandr Arutyunyan (Nina); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Services, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Thursday, April 4th, from 6 to 8 pm.
