Thomas S. "Tom" Kruszewski Obituary (1940 - 2017)

Thomas S. "Tom" Kruszewski, age 77, of Harborcreek Township passed away peacefully Saturday, July 22, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie on May 11, 1940, the son of the late Stephen and Anna Cabaday Kruszewski. Tom was a 1958 graduate of the former Tech Memorial High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Tom was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1998. He was a member of St. James R.C. Church and a lifetime member of the Siebenbuerger Club. Tom was an avid hunter and enjoyed golf. He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Ann Kruszewski and one sister, Shirley Ann Walter. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Patricia Wasiulewski Kruszewski; two sons, Thomas M. Kruszewski (Pamela) and Kevin Kruszewski (Christine); two brothers, Kenneth Kruszewski (Toni) and Philip Kruszewski (Diane); one brother-in-law, Joseph Wasiulewski (Carol); five grandchildren, Alaina, Kevin Joseph, Ryan, Julie and Travis and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, 2607 Buffalo Rd. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Saint James R.C.
