"A Life Well Lived"

Terry Lynn Rose, age 73, of North East, passed away at home on Sunday, August 1, 2021, surrounded by his family after a long battle with COPD. Terry was born in Erie on January 1, 1948, the son of the late Arthur and Lillian (Peterson) Rose.

Terry was a proud 1967 graduate of Harbor Creek High School and always attended the class reunions. He was a US Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War with the 196th Infantry Brigade. He retired from General Electric in 2001 with over 25 years of service and spent winters in Zephyrhills, Florida. He was blessed to be a member of AA for 34 years. His AA friends were a second family. Terry's family would like to acknowledge his sponsor, Mike W. with special thanks for being there for him throughout the years. Terry loved riding motorcycles with friends and attending AA picnics, dances, and meetings. He had a special clown collection that grew over the years. He also enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows; from Judge Judy to boxing, or anything on Animal Planet, Nat Geo, the History channel, or the Western channel. Known to many as either "T", "T-bird", "Dude", or "Pops", Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary L. (Childs) Rose, married on October 7, 1977; son, Shawn Rose; daughter, Heather (Tom) Yacobozzi; three grandchildren: Brianna (Branden), Michael and Eddie Yacobozzi; brother, Ronald (Betty) Rose; two aunts: Joyce Gustafson and Carol Smith, as well as many cousins; nephews: Scott Rose, and his children, Brandon, Jordan (Morgyn) and Cory, and Kevin (Judy) Rose and their children, Rylee and Austin.

Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the DUSCKAS-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.) on Friday, August 6th from 4 to 7 PM.
