Terrance Gardner

Terrance Donald “Terry” Gardner, Sr., age 86, of Erie, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Erie on November 23, 1937, son of the late Charles Chapman and Ann Neider Gardner.

Terry was a graduate of East High School and a veteran of the US Air Force. He worked as a barber before his 30 plus year career with Uniflow, from which he retired in 2001. Terry attended St. James RC Church for many years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and slow pitch baseball and often traveled to Florida to golf with his three brothers. Terry was an avid reader and loved dining out with his wife, Winnie. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family and especially his granddaughter, Eva.

Terry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Winifred “Winnie” (Jones) Gardner; three children: Alanna Gardner, Brian Gardner (Ann Marie), and Kristine Edwards (Douglas); sister, Judy Moorehead (Sam); granddaughters: Eva, and Desiree (Ryan); and bonus granddaughters: Danielle (Nelson), Jennifer (Conor), Stephanie, and Athena; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his son, Terrance Donald “Rance” Gardner, Jr.; and brothers: Charles, Timothy and William Gardner.

Friends and family may call at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd.) on Friday, November 15th from 4 PM until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7 PM. Terry will be privately laid to rest at a later date.
