Stephon Lee Dixon Sr Obituary (1965 - 2022)

Stephon Lee "Bobo" Dixon, Sr., age 57, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was born in Erie on October 1, 1965, the son of Victor Henderson Dixon and the late Shirley Graham Dixon Gaines. Stephon was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School and attended Tri-State Business Institute. He was a veteran of the US Army. Stephon worked as a CNA in various nursing homes as well as private homes, but most of all he loved working at Lake Shore Community Services. He was an avid bowler and fisherman and enjoyed playing his Xbox, cooking, and watching sports. Stephon's favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. In addition to his father and stepmother, Inez Dixon, Stephon leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rachel Dixon; his children, Stephon Lee Dixon, Jr., Devante Dixon, Xavier Dixon, LaTasha Cook (Corey), Jessica Saunders, and Arianna Dixon; his siblings, Leslie Barnett (Vernon), Ellery Dixon, Kito Dixon, Raven Dixon, Eric Inge, and Anthony Dixon (Sherria); eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends, Bonnie Phillips, Julie and Cheyanne Wilcox, Adrian Ewing, and Victoria Thompson Snyder. Besides his mother, Stephon was preceded in death by his sister, Stephaine Dixon; grandmothers, Rita Carter-Short and Maudie Mae Graham; and a host of aunts and uncles. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Services, Inc., 536 West 10th Street on Tuesday from 5 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7 pm.
