Silas Roland Elder-Davis Obituary (1990 - 2021)

Silas Roland Elder-Davis was a wonderful young man who fought a 7 year battle with kidney disease and a brief illness before going home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Silas was born at St. Vincent Hospital September 12, 1990 to Tammy Elder Hardenburg. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James R. Elder; and his maternal great-grandmother, Helen Jones. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Charles Matthews of Crystal River, Florida, and Sebastian Hardenburg (Courtney) of Mayville, New York; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Elder (Ric Staaf) of Sumerfield, Florida; a very special friend, Megan Shields; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Silas' love for life and the Lord were always important to him. He attended the North East Christian Alliance Church and participated in groups as well as many other church functions. He was always volunteering to help whenever and wherever he could. He loved motorcycles, the Steelers and reading. There will be a private service held at the discretion of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd.
