Ronald L Newhouse

Ronald L. Newhouse, age 82, formerly of Millcreek, passed away November 21, 2021 surrounded by his family in Bloomington, MN due to complications from dementia. He was born in Fisher, PA to the late Berton and Deolia Moore Newhouse.
Ron graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School in 1957, then went on to serve in the United States Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Goodrich, stationed in Jacksonville, FL. Afterwards, he graduated from Williamsport Technical Institute and became a machinist at R.M. Kerner Company, retiring in 2004 after 40 years. He was known to be able to fix just about anything and loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and just being in the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; and son, Luke. He is survived by his children, Janine Kohn (Benji) of Hudson, WI, Mathew Newhouse of Meadville, and Rebecca Horazuk (Joel) of Lakeville, MN; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Jerry (Lois) Newhouse; two sisters, Janice Linn, and Helen Decker (Howard); and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Ron's life at the Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5151 Buffalo Road (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.), on Saturday, April 9th, at 1 pm with Deacon Doug Konzel officiating. For those unable to attend, a live stream of Ron's Service will be available on the Dusckas Funeral Home Youtube page. The link will be posted under the Event details for the Service shortly before it begins. Following the service, all are welcome to the interment at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery with Military Honors rendered by the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571, and a celebration gathering at Belle Valley Fire/Social Hall.
