Robert Isner

Robert Paul “Bobby” Isner, age 70, of Erie, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025. He was born in Erie on June 22, 1955, son of the late Wanda Pytlarz and Charles Isner. He was a life-long resident of Erie County.

Bobby dedicated 51 years of hard work to Urick Foundry before retiring on July 8, 2025. He had a deep, unconditional love for his family and friends, always putting them first. His man cave was his sanctuary—a place where he could crank up his music and savor the simple joys of life. Ever the dreamer, Bobby often talked about hitting the lottery one day and making sure everyone he loved was taken care of.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Mikolajczyk, Stanley Mikolajczyk, Johnny Isner and David Isner; and sister, Wanda Brunner. He is survived by one remaining sister, Kathy Hair (Bryce); his girlfriend of many years, Gloria Reid, and her children; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In the arms of an angel, he finds comfort there always.
