Rachel Marie Snippert

Rachel Marie Snippert, age 17, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born in Erie on July 7, 1999, daughter of Louise Snippert and Frank Wallace.

Rachel was attending PA Distance Learning Cyber School. She enjoyed shopping, playing Nintendo, eating at Taco Bell, and hanging out with her friends. Rachel also enjoyed ATV's, jet-skiing, pontoon boats and horseback riding.

In addition to her parents, Rachel is survived by three sisters, Chelsea Wallace, Alexandria Snippert, and Clarissa Snippert; three brothers, Bruce and Nicholas Jaraczewski, and Kevin Williams; grandparents, Maxine Sherlock, Ronald and Edwina Miller; adopted grandparents, Bruce "G.Pa" and Terry Speicher; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Further visitation will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 1781 West 38th Street, on Thursday from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 am, conducted by Rev. David Miles. Interment, Gate of Heaven.
