Phyllis M. Lesniewski

Phyllis M. Lesniewski, age 86, of Harborcreek, passed away January 29, 2017. She was born in Luthersburg, PA on June 21, 1930, daughter of the late Victor and Martha Schindley.

Phyllis had a long career in sales, working at K-Mart East and Big Lots prior to her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, shopping and traveling with her husband, Joseph in Europe. She and Joe went to the Emmy's for The Band of Brothers, in which Joe was featured, and traveled the U.S. for their reunions for many years. In Phyllis' 86th year, she learned how to drive the lawn tractor.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Judith Goodison; her son, Paul Beck; sister, Shirley Turner (Jim); two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great, great-grandson, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lesniewski; one son, Donald Beck; one sister and two brothers.

Friends are invited to attend a Committal at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery on Saturday, May 13th at 11 am conducted by Rev. Mark McCallion. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd.
