Patricia Lee Lydic Kightlinger Schley Obituary (1951 - 2023)

Patricia Lee Lydic Kightlinger Schley, born to Glen and Ruth Lydic on March 20, 1951; given to Francis and Martha Kightlinger to care for and raise as one of their own, along with her sister, Debbie, who were adopted into their family of three sons. There were two other birth sisters, Glenda and Sandra, who became friends as adults. Patricia was preceded in death by her birth parents, Glen and Ruth Lydic; a baby brother; her adoptive parents, Francis and Martha Kightlinger; brothers, Michael and O'Brian Kightlinger; sister, Sandra Lydic Millet; sisters-in-law, Connie and Jackie Kightlinger; and baby son, Todd Christopher Schley. Patricia "Patsy" is survived by her sister, Debbie Kightlinger; her beloved daughter, Stephanie Cross; and three much loved grandsons, Vincent Cross (Amanda), Anthony Cross (Alaina) and William Cross. She is further survived by her brother, James Kightlinger and his seven children; her sister, Glenda McAnulty and her five children; many nieces and nephews and three children from her late brother, Michael. Special mention to Scott, our nephew and his wife, Michelle, who was one of Patsy's home health caretakers. Patsy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Fairview Manor. Much thanks to Hospice and staff for keeping her comfortable and cared for. Soar high, soar free our beloved...until we meet again.
