Patricia A. Dougan

Patricia A. Dougan, age 92, of Harborcreek, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She was born in Erie on June 1, 1930, daughter of the late Phineas and Eula Stetson of Wesleyville. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Bud Martin and Gene Dougan; her beloved sister, Shirley Adams; and one daughter, Gail Martin Burkett.

Patricia grew up in North East and moved to Wesleyville when she was in high school. She was a beloved and dedicated wife and mother, and was happiest when she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's various events. Patricia loved to bake and host family dinners in her home. She was a steadfast example of kindness and support to all that remain to cherish her memories. She also worked for the General Telephone Company for many years.

Patricia was a member and faithful participant of Trinity Lutheran Church. She lovingly crocheted prayer shawls and lap blankets for nursing homes residents to provide them comfort. Her faith in Jesus Christ carried her in this life and she was confident in her eternity. She was a rock and an inspiration to those who loved her.

Patricia is survived by five children, Henry Martin, Tom Martin, Becky Hogue (Mark), Sherry Morgan, Shauncey Baldwin (Robert); ten grandchildren and twenty-two
great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may pay their respects at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 14 East 38th Street, Erie, on Saturday, December 17th from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service there at 11 am. Interment will take place at Grahamville Cemetery in North East. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to Trinity Lutheran Church, 14 East 38th Street, Erie, PA, 16504. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
