Oscar L. Pencille

Oscar L. Pencille, age 69, of Edinboro, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie on March 30, 1948, son of the late Oscar and Della M. Long Pencille.

Oscar first worked for Coca Cola, then in construction for Robert R. Smith, and landscaping for Bob Herman. He was a very hard worker with a great work ethic. Oscar enjoyed doing yardwork, hunting, and time spent with his dog, "Joey", who survives him. He was a wonderful husband, father, and "Papa", who will be dearly missed.

Oscar is further survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Pencille; two sons, Jamie Alan Pencille (Sandra) and Eckert Lee Pencille; three sisters, Margaret Czajkowski, Della Colon (Fredo) and Gladys Brooks; two brothers, Nelson Pencille (Barbara) and Bradley Pencille; one grandson, Jeremiah Pencille; one granddaughter, Josey Pencille; in-laws, Debra and Steve Parsons; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Pencille.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Harry Euell. Interment will follow at Phillipsville Union Cemetery.
