Nona C. Wick

Nona C. Wick, age 82, of Erie, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Edinboro Manor. She was born in Erie on November 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Clarence and Anona Snider.

Nona was a member of St. James R.C. Church. She was an avid golfer, playing in leagues at Lawrence Park Golf Club. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with her sister and being a grandmother to her great nieces.

Nona is survived by one brother, Don Snider (Peggy); a special niece, Carol Deptula; and great nieces who loved her dearly, Brittany and Breann McKinzie and Jennifer Turner along with several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Pete" Wick and two sisters, Alice Deptula and Arlene Flanders; and three brothers, Kenneth, Cameron and Carl Snider.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, 2607 Buffalo Rd. on Wednesday from 12 noon until the service there at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. James McCormick. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
