Nancy J. Zurawski

Nancy J. Zurawski, age 90, of Erie, passed away at her home on Monday, May 18, 2026 with her family at her side. She was born in Brocton, NY on July 10, 1935, daughter of the late Earl and Agnes Gregory.

Nancy enjoyed being a homemaker and being with her cat, Curtis. She loved to bake and work in her flower garden. Nancy was a great baker and everyone always looked forward to her Christmas cookies. She was actively involved with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them after school. She loved playing cards with her family, especially Canasta. Nancy was a long-time member of St. James R.C. Church and volunteered at the school and the church festival.

Nancy is survived by two children, Stephen Zurawski and Sandy Yadeski (Jim); one brother, Tom Gregory; one brother-in-law, Bill Bundy; two grandchildren, Evan (Kathleen) and Andrew Yadeski; one great-grandson, Jack Yadeski; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zurawski; one brother, Dick Gregory and his wife, Carol; two sisters, Elaine Bentham and her husband, Jerry and Sally Bundy; and one sister-in-law, Sherry Gregory.

The family would like to thank Interim Hospice, especially Alek, Michelle, Ashley and her aide, Olydia, for the wonderful care given to Nancy.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday, May 29th, from 3 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. James R.C. Church, on Saturday, May 30th, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James R.C.
