Miranda L. Pierce

Miranda L. Pierce, age 31, of Lawrence Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2020 with her family by her side following long term health complications. She was born in Erie on September 26, 1989, the daughter of Bruce and Holly Pierce.

Miranda was a 2008 graduate of Iroquois High School. She had previously worked for Essentra Components. She enjoyed watching sunsets and treasured time with her nieces and nephews and her dog, Gus. Miranda was also extremely close with her mother with whom she often spent time and referred to her as her best friend.

In addition to her parents, Miranda is survived by two sisters, her twin, Chelsea Grygier (Jason), and Rachel Pierce; one brother, Brandon Pierce; and her grandfather, William Julius. She was a beloved Aunt Manny to her three nieces and nephew, Hailey Pierce, Alexander Pierce and Mia Grygier. She is further survived by her aunts and uncles, Christine and Carl Puline, David and Janice Pierce, Daryl and Patricia Pierce, Doug and LuAnn Pierce, and Scott Pierce; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carol Julius, Clarence and Barbara Pierce, and one uncle, John Rictor.

At the family's request, private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc. 2607 Buffalo Road.
