Erie, Pennsylvania
Michelle Denise Achille, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Donna Jean Eller and was one of 11 siblings, including four sisters and seven brothers. She was preceded in death by three of her sisters and three of her brothers.
Michelle is survived by her three beloved children, Jackie Wisniewski (Joe), Julio Achille (Aurora), and Justin Achille (Heather); along with her 11 grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable love and happiness.
Michelle was a woman whose love knew no limits. She was a devoted mother, Nana, daughter, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren more than words could ever express. They were her world, her greatest blessing, and the center of her heart. Michelle had a heart big enough to love everyone around her. She was especially devoted to those she called family, including her beloved dog, Sandy Brown, who held a very special place in her heart.
Michelle had many things that brought her joy. She was an excellent cook, loved to sing and dance, and was often the life of the party. Her laughter, her spirit, and her ability to make people feel loved and welcome will be deeply missed. To those who knew her, Michelle was one of the strongest women they had ever known, with one of the biggest hearts. She loved fiercely, gave generously, and made an unforgettable mark on the lives of the people fortunate enough to know her.
From her children and grandchildren:
Mom, Nana—there will never be enough words to tell you how much you meant to us. You were our strength, our safe place, our biggest supporter, and the heart of our family. You loved us with everything you had, and we never had to wonder how much we meant to you.
You taught us what it means to be strong, to love deeply, to laugh often, and to always make room for the people we love. Some of our greatest memories will be gathered around your table, listening to you laugh, watching you sing and dance, and simply being together as a family.
We wish we could have had more time with you. We wish we could hear your voice, see your smile, and feel your hugs just one more time. But we will carry you with us in everything we do. We will see you in the little things—in the recipes you taught us, the songs you loved, the laughter around the table, and most of all, in the love we have for one another.
You gave us a lifetime of love, and that love will never leave us. We promise to keep your memory alive, to take care of each other, and to love our family the way you taught us to.
You were, and always will be, the heart of our family.
We love you, Mom.
We love you, Nana.
Until we meet again, may you finally rest peacefully in the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
You will forever live in our hearts.
