Michael S. Wagner Obituary (1973 - 2022)

Michael S. Wagner, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 25, 2022. He was born in Erie on November 30, 1973. Michael graduated from Technical Memorial High School in 1992 and enlisted in the US Air Force, serving during Operation Desert Storm. Upon his return to Erie, he found work at the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home supporting his fellow veterans. He also used his artistic talent as a tattoo artist at Bay City Tattoo. In addition to drawing and tattooing, Michael enjoyed playing the guitar and riding his motorcycle, even building his first Harley himself. Mike never missed an opportunity to crack a joke to make someone smile and kids were especially drawn to his silly side. He was always the first person to offer anything he had to a friend in need. Michael is survived by his mother, Angela Iesue Bradish and stepfather, Arlie Bradish of Harborcreek; sister, Jennifer Wagner of Silver Spring, MD; half-brothers, Daniel and Matthew Wagner of Rochester, NY; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Wagner; stepfather, Thomas Wagner; maternal grandparents Esther Hatt Iesue and Emilio Iesue; and paternal grandparents, Ann Marie Dolce Wagner and William J. Wagner. Friends will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday, September 1st, from 1 pm until the time of the Memorial Service there at 3 pm. Military Honors will follow rendered by the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Michael can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
