Michael F. King

Michael F. King, age 36, of Greenfield Twp., passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021, due to medical complications. He was born in Erie on April 4, 1984, the son of Jack and Donna King.

Michael was a graduate of Seneca High School. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler and camping. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends around the campfire, video games and animals of any kind, especially his pugs, Gucci, Louie, and Butchy Boo. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. He earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and treasured time with his nephew and nieces, Dayne, Vienna, and Malia. Michael had so many struggles in his life, but it never kept him down. He always found a way to see the beauty in everything. Just being around him made life better. Michael showed everyone he met true inspiration and strength.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by one brother, Jackson King; two sisters, Brooke Kimmy (Dan), and Brandi King; his grandmother, Cheryl King; his close uncle and aunt, Steve and Debbie Gibbs; and so many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jackson King, and John and Marge Wojtkielewicz; an uncle, John King; and a cousin, Danny King.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. All CDC guidelines that pertain to the COVID-19 pandemic will be observed. A private service will be held by the family with interment to follow at North East Cemetery.
