Marsha Lee Horton

Marsha Lee Horton, age 63, of Erie, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016. She was born in DuBois, PA on July 19, 1953, to her beloved parents, the late Russell Earl and Kathleen Noble McGranor.

Marsha worked at Plastek, as a molding supervisor, for over 20 years. Her interests included Elvis, bears, and computers. She liked to read Danielle Steele books and going to the casino. She loved laughing at her grandchildren. They lit up her world and could do no wrong. She enjoyed holidays. She loved surprising people and delighted in making them happy. Marsha loved people. She would go without so that others wouldn't have to. She loved with her whole heart - deeply, truly, and unconditionally. When Marsha loved you, you were hers. In her not so reserved way, she made this world a better place.

She is survived by her children, Sheela "Maggie Mawonies" Horton (Christine), and John Horton (Lana); siblings, Linda McGranor, Kathleen Palmer, Tammy Chrispen (Donald) and Russell McGranor, Jr. (Lori). She is further survived by her grandchildren, her sun would rise and set around them, Christian "Chrishy" Horton, Rhys "Pieces", Lyncoln "LuLu", and Quinn "Quinnie" Horton-Bowen; her dear computer friend, Betty Glew; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Marsha was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Jean McGranor.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Sunday from 6 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to the Children's Miracle Network, 232 West 25th St. Erie, PA 16544.
