Marilyn C. Seeley

Marilyn C. Seeley, age 76 of Erie, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Walnut Creek Healthcare. Marilyn was born on December 9, 1940 in Titusville, PA, the daughter of the late Burton and Blanche Wright Seeley.

Marilyn was one of 22 siblings and had been raised by the late Bernard and Amelia Morris. She had resided in Erie for most of her life. Marilyn had been employed by the School District of the City of Erie as a custodian for 25 years, retiring in 2006. Prior to that, she had also been employed as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed fishing, painting, drawing, photography and working seek-and-find puzzles. Marilyn had previously been affiliated with the Salvation Army.

Marilyn is survived by her sisters, Anna Cartney, Charlotte Gustafson, Virginia Hubert (Martin), Alta Webber (Robert), Shirley Beers, Gloria Grow (Harry), Alice Jones (Ricky); her brothers, Robert (Rita), Jackson, Donald (Peg), and Herbert Seeley; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her natural parents; a dear sister and best friend, Thelma K. Mellin; one nephew, Kevin Postlethwait; and ten brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Road on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6 p.m., conducted by Major Leslie Walter. Private interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
