Marijane A. Apthorp Obituary (1948 - 2017)

MariJane A. Apthorp, age 68, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was born in Erie on August 8, 1948, the daughter of the late Morris and June Schneider. MariJane worked at LECOM at Presque Isle for several years. She enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her family, reminiscing about the good old days. MariJane was preceded in death by one son, Shawn Apthorp. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Cole, Sharon Hulings (Mike Mull), Karen Alkurd (Mohammed) and Amy Apthorp; sons, Steve Hulings, and Eric Apthorp; grandchildren, Scott, Danny, Sarah, Heather, Melissa, Saeed, Zakeria, Meera, Justin, Jade and Alyssa; and several great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Sunday from 3 until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7 pm.
