Margaret Wheeler

Maggie Wheeler, age 69, of North East, died Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Pittsfield, MA on February 13, 1956, daughter of the late Richard and Carol Winston of Lenox, MA.

Maggie enjoyed being happily retired and spending time with her family and friends. She deeply loved her dog, Harley, her two sons, Justin and Jared (his wife, Christine) and her beloved granddaughter, Josephine. She was happily married for 44 years to her husband, Arthur “Art” Wheeler. She especially loved the Adirondacks and the wild call of the loons. Maggie graduated with an Associate Bilingual Secretary Degree from Berkshire Community College. She was a Secretary with General Electric for 12 years. She also worked in the Penn State Behrend College Housing Department for seven years.

Maggie is survived by her husband, Arthur Wheeler; her sons, Justin Wheeler of Pittsburgh, PA and Jared Wheeler and his wife, Christine, and granddaughter, Josephine of Richmond, CA; as well as two brothers, Chris and Padric Winston, along with their families with many nieces and nephews.
