Madeline Ruiz-Soto

Madeline Ruiz-Soto, age 61, of Erie, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on December 26, 1961, daughter of the late Francisco Ruiz and Angelica Soto.

Madeline was a housekeeper at St. Patrick's R.C. Church Rectory for 23 years. She had a deep faith in the Lord and in addition to raising her children, she had an important part in helping to raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Madeline was a member of Iglesia Mission Celestial Church.

Madeline is survived by her husband, Angel Ruiz-Guzman; five children, Angel Ruiz (Elvisa), Luis Ruiz, Elizabeth Ruiz, Nancy Ruiz and Miguel Ruiz (Olga Roman); her brother, Miguel Ruiz, who has been a large part of her life, along with many other brothers and sisters; 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Services, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7:30 pm, conducted by Rev. Ruben Claudio. Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
