Louis J. Wieczorek Obituary (1940 - 2016)

Louis J. "Lou" Wieczorek, age 76, of Erie, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016. He was born in Erie on May 7, 1940, son of the late Walter and Pearl Wieczorek. Lou was employed at General Electric Co. until his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed golfing and hunting. Lou was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Wieczorek. He is survived by two step-daughters, Nancy and Brenda Oberlander; four step-sons, David (Mary), Michael (Sheila), and Marc and Joseph Oberlander; one sister, Joan Hinkle; two brothers, Walter and Charles (Sandy) Wieczorek; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, 2607 Buffalo Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of the service there at 8 p.m. conducted by Rev. James McCormick. A private interment will be held.
