Louis A. Kobielski

Louis A. "Louie" Kobielski, age 72, of Harborcreek, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024. He was born in Erie on November 25, 1951, son of the late Louis Sr. and June Kobielski.

Louie was a 1969 graduate of Harbor Creek High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Louie retired as the shipping manager from Executool. He loved all sports, especially NASCAR, the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed playing golf. Louis was a member of the WA Club, where he enjoyed visiting with his buddies. He also liked going to the casino and traveling to Richmond, VA to visit his daughter and grandchildren.

Louie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dee Kobielski; one daughter, Sarah McElroy (Justin); one son, Dennis Kobielski; one sister, Gayle Kobielski (Tony LaPlaca); one brother, Patrick Kobielski; two grandchildren, Zoey and Ethan; sister-in-law, Linda Eckard; brother-in-law, Thomas Smith; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Kobielski.

Friends will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday, May 23rd, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A private interment will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Brookside Fire Department, 3560 Athens Street, Erie, PA 16510.
