Joseph J. Orlando Obituary (1950 - 2022)

Joseph J. Orlando, age 71, of Lawrence Park, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022. He was born in Erie on April 22, 1950, son of the late Joseph and Lucille Orlando. Joe was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and Edinboro University. Joe was an owner/operator as a truck driver and had also previously worked at the Barber National Institute. He also managed Friendly's Restaurant. Joe loved riding his Harley and spending time with his family and his yorkie, Angel Marie. Joseph is survived by his beloved, Susan; his children, Joseph S. Orlando (Kelly), Steph Orlando, David Bardo, and Natalie Kemp; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Orlando Sr.; and one sister, Deborah Huber. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 4 pm until the time of closing prayers at 7 pm.
