Jennifer L. Johnson

Jennifer L. Johnson, age 32, of Erie, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on June 10, 1985.

Jennifer was a caregiver, working in the home health care field and also helped take care of her mother-in-law. She loved music, cooking and treasured time with her son, Johnathan.

In addition to her son, Johnathan, Jennifer is survived by two daughters, Jasandra and Sacra; her stepdad, Tim Hughes; her grandfather, John Briggs; three sisters, Brittany Shields (Jermaine), Juliza Hughes and Jillian Lewis; eight brothers, Michael Briggs, Patrick (Angela), Seth, Josh and Zach Beckwith, Gavin Gaines, Aaron Lewis and Justin Hughes; four step-siblings, Katie, Maria, Josh and Jeremy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Denise Hughes; mother-in-law, Sandra Johnson; grandmother, Patricia Briggs; and aunt, Colleen Gant.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Saturday from 2 pm until a time of sharing at 5 pm. Private interment to be held.

Contributions will be accepted at the funeral home on behalf of the family to help defray expenses.
