Howard A. Ostrowski Sr Obituary (1936 - 2017)

Howard A. Ostrowski, Sr., age 80, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born in Erie on November 25, 1936, the last of six children of the late John and Mildred Beebe Ostrowski. Howard served in the U.S. Navy and worked until his retirement at Autoclave Engineers. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Griffin Ostrowski; children, George Ostrowski, Laurie Schneider, Howard Ostrowski, Jr. (Shirley), and Philip "Bert" Ostrowski (Pam); and grandchildren, Christian, Cheyenne, Howard III, and Chase. Howard was preceded in death by a grandson, Nick Thomas Ostrowski. Friends may call at the Simpson United Methodist Church, 2113 Sassafras Street, for a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 13th at 6 pm. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc.
