Henry "Bob" Page Obituary (1942 - 2016)

Henry R. "Bob" Page, age 74, of Harborcreek, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 26, 2016. He was born in Erie on July 6, 1942, son of the late Florence Huffman and Hank Page. Bob was employed by EMTA as a driver for 35 years. He enjoyed talking to his regular riders and always had a kind word for first-time riders. He was a member of the East Erie Moose Lodge and a life member of the Siebenbuerger Club. Bob enjoyed playing golf and especially enjoyed bowling with his brother-in-law, Bill. In addition, Bob also enjoyed travelling; his favorite destination was Las Vegas. His most recent visit included a stop at the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop made famous by the popular TV show, "Pawn Stars", which made the trip extra special. Bob will also be lovingly remembered for the great help he was to his late mother-in-law; taking her grocery shopping, to the bank and even out to lunch. When she became unable to do things for herself, Bob stepped in and did them for her. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Nellie Briggs, who raised him; a sister, Marolyn Zielonis and his mother-in-law, Martha Reedy. Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Linda Reedy Page; five sisters: Diana Huegel, Patty Page, Carol Huffman, Gloria Rodriguez (Bill) and Kathy Daniels and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. A special "thank you" to nieces Brenda, Sherry, Felicia and Debbie who rallied around their uncle to make his last days as comfortable as possible. Family and friends may call at the Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek), on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend the funeral service there on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Bob will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
