Francis G. Lipinski

Francis G. Lipinski, age 86, of Summit Township, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie on December 20, 1935, son of the late Stephen and Susan Fickenworth Lipinski.

Francis was an independent carpenter. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing and landscaping.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Shirley L. Lipinski who died in 2014; three brothers, Rudolph, John and James Lipinski; and two sisters, Betty Jane (Lipinski) Bennett and Rose M. (Lipinski) DiLoreto. Francis is survived by three daughters, Kimberley Garrity (Timothy), Karen Snedden (Glenn) and Frances Pavach; one son, Thomas Lipinski (Marguerite), all of Erie; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd.
