Eleanor B. Conaway Obituary (1929 - 2023)

Eleanor B. Conaway, age 93, of Harborcreek, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home. She was born in Erie on April 24, 1929, daughter of the late Bernard and Betty Borowski. Eleanor earned a Bachelor's Degree from Villa Maria College and worked in accounting at General Electric Co for 20 years. She was a member of the Erie Yacht Club and enjoyed crocheting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. Eleanor is survived by two children, William "Bill" Conaway and Natalie Whiteman (Lenny); and four grandchildren, Emma Whiteman, and Wyatt, Eli and Jace Conaway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Conaway; one brother, Bernard Borowski; and one grandson, Jeremiah Conaway. At the family's request, private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd. Interment will be held at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
