Elaina Lee Kuczynski

Elaina Lee Kuczynski, age 71, of Erie, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was born in Erie on November 7, 1946, daughter of Leila Dunlap Craft Moore and the late Everett Craft.

Elaina was employed by the Pleasant Ridge Manor as a nurse's aide for 30 years until her retirement from the East Campus in 2000. She enjoyed ceramics and camping and traveling with her husband. Elaina was a member of Christ the Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church and Gridley Chapter 324, Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her mother, Elaina is survived by one daughter, Leighann Griffin (Arnold Waldinger); two sisters, Bonnie Parker (Dan Jennings) and Vicky Hartman; two grandchildren, Christopher and AJ; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Adrian; their father, David Malone; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kuczynski; an infant son, Francis Jordan Kuczynski; a sister, Joy Marie Craft; and a granddaughter, Jessica Jakubac.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Wednesday at 11 am conducted by Rev. Al Gesler, Jr. Interment will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Gridley Chapter 324, Order of the Eastern Star will hold a service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
