Edith J. Powell Clay Obituary (1954 - 2024)

Edith J. Powell Clay, age 70, of Ashtabula, OH, formerly of Harborcreek, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 of natural causes. She was born in Altoona on January 6, 1954, daughter of the late William and Hazel Powell. Edith was a 1971 graduate of Harbor Creek High School. She had worked at Homestead and Hospice of the Western Reserve. Edith is survived by her son, Stephen McCloskey; her daughter, Cara McCloskey; and two nephews, Torrance and Andrew Powell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Powell. At the family's request, a private interment will be held at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
