Doris M. Lynch Duke

It is with a heavy heart, the family of Doris M. Lynch Duke, wishes to announce that she passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born in Erie on November 18, 1926, daughter of the late Patrick and Jessie Lynch.

Doris was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, and enjoyed traveling, bingo, playing cards, going to the casino, but most of all, spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy James Duke, who passed in 1963; and one brother, Richard Lynch.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Paul Duke; seven children, Thomas, Raymond, Mark, John (Karen), Scott, and Paula Duke, and Pamela Williams (Janson); one sister-in-law, Marilyn Lynch; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 816 West 26th Street, at 10 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
