Diana M. Huegel

Diana M. "Rusty" Huegel, age 83, of Erie, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, December 30, 2022. She was born in Erie on February 3, 1939, daughter of the late Henry and Florence Dobson Page.

Diana was a graduate of Academy High School and Erie Business Center. She was a retiree of Value City, spending most of those retired days babysitting her grandchildren. Diana loved knitting and crocheting and donated many of her projects to the homeless.

Diana is survived by five children, Briana Mosko, Christine Huegel, Keith Szuba, Michael Szuba and Karen Huegel; grandchildren, Joshua, Shaun, Christopher, Kamren, Tara, Jennifer and Benjamin; three sisters, Kathy Daniels, Patricia Page and Carol Huffman; and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her husband, George Huegel; one daughter, Suzette Bailey; and three siblings, Robert Page, Gloria Rodriguez and Marolyn Zielonis.

Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd.
