Deette L. "Dee Dee" Strayer Obituary (1966 - 2018)

DeEtte L."Dee Dee" Strayer, age 52, of Wesleyville, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, following a short illness. She was born in San Diego, CA on July 1, 1966. Dee Dee was Assistant Manager of Edible Arrangements. She enjoyed reading and caring for animals. She especially loved being at home with her family, grandchildren, and her dog, Lucy. Dee Dee is survived by her husband, Stanley Postek; two children, Staff Sgt. Jeffrey Strayer (Leza), U.S. Army, stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC and Leslie Postak of Erie; her father and step mother, Bruce and Kathy Waddell Sr. of California; one brother, Bruce Waddell, Jr. of California; one sister, Barbara McIntyre of Florida; two grandchildren, Peighton and Brett Strayer; nephews, Jeremy and Joseph McIntyre; step-daughter, Erica Antic (Dean) of Erie; sister-in-law, Linda Postak, of Erie; and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Bines. Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Road.
