Daniel J. Ferry Sr Obituary (1943 - 2021)

Daniel J. Ferry Sr., age 77, of Wesleyville, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born in Erie on September 26, 1943, son of the late Paul and Helen Marzursky Ferry. Dan was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army. He retired from GE after 34 years and enjoyed bowling and gambling. Dan was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians and was a member of the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571. Dan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bertha H. Hansen Ferry; two sons, Daniel J. Ferry Jr. (Myrna), and Stephen P. Ferry (Chantell); two brothers, David P. Ferry (Cheryl) and Donald Ferry; one sister, Diane Crawford; two grandchildren, Michael Alan Ferry (Kelsie) and Timothy Ryan Ferry; one great-grandson on the way and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis J. Ferry. Private services and interment at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VA Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504.
