Dailey "Doc" Potter

Dailey "Doc" Potter, age 80, of Erie, passed away at Sarah Reed Retirement Home on Sunday, December 17, 2017. He was born in Jackson, KY on June 28, 1937, son of the late Thurman and Daisy Potter.

Dailey had previously worked for Mayer Brothers and Schneiderman's Junkyard. He loved working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

Dailey is survived by his wife, Margaret Potter; three daughters, Corinna Potter (Ed Bowes), Christina Potter (Randy Hartleb), and Celena Potter (Chet Howe); two sisters, Ardella Friedman (Connie) and Val Watson (Tom); four grandchildren, Tiffany and E.J. Bowes, and Austin and Makayla Howe; and many nieces and nephews. Dailey was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Jess, and Thurman Jr. Potter; four sisters, Marcella Perez, Ruby Wolf, Pallie Morris and Fredonia Stillings.

The family would like to give a special thanks to AseraCare Hospice for their wonderful care given to Dailey.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday at 11 am conducted by Rev. David Roach. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
