Curtis "Pete" Williams

Curtis "Pete" Williams, age 80, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie on April 14, 1938, son of the late George and Cecile Davis Williams.

Pete was a veteran of the National Guard and Army Reserve. He was an auto mechanic at numerous local dealerships. Pete was an avid auto enthusiast and raced stock cars at local tracks. He most recently worked at G.J. Miller. Pete enjoyed playing cards and going to car shows and had a loving devotion to his family. He will be missed by his faithful companion, his dog, Kelly.

Pete was preceded in death by his son, Alexander Richard Williams; and two sisters, Ada Marie Start and Alice Bell. Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, Patricia Grabowski Williams; one son, George P. Williams (Julie A. Henry); one sister, Sue Blair; and many nieces and nephews.

Heartfelt gratitude to Chris and Andrea Grabowski and Diane Tarbell for their overall devotion given to Pete.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 4 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Saturday at 9:15 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Interment will take place at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery with Military Honors rendered by the VFW Post 470.
