Costel Vasile Obituary (1971 - 2024)

Costel Vasile, age 53, of Erie, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born in Arad, Romania on January 21, 1971, son of Marin and Ana Vasile. Costel was a 1989 graduate of Iroquois High School. He then served in the US Navy. Costel was a machinist and then a home health caregiver. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Nicholas Vasile; one sister, Armenia Schaber (Douglas); two brothers, Alex Vasile (Beth) and Mario Vasile; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Vasile. At the family's request, private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd.
