Conor R. Chadwick Obituary (1993 - 2024)

Conor R. Chadwick, age 31, of Clifton Forge, VA, formerly of Erie, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 following a truck/bicycle accident while training for a Triathlon, an event he really enjoyed. Conor was born in Erie on June 3, 1993, the beloved son of Cheryl Chadwick and the late Lawrence Chadwick. Conor was a 2011 graduate of Harbor Creek High School where he played on the football team, #31. In 2015, he graduated from Penn State University and went on to receive his MBA in 2021 from the University of Ohio. Conor was a Finance Manager for Westrock Paper Mill in Covington, VA. In addition to loving to participate in triathlons, he enjoyed any kind of sports. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Penn State Football. He also liked playing basketball and spending time with his dog, Bella. Conor was licensed as an officiant to lead his dad's funeral and his friends' wedding. Besides his mother, Cheryl, Conor is survived by one sister, Casey Smith (Kevin); two nephews, Caden and Keegan; one niece, Keira; his best friends who were more like brothers, Billy Oosterkamp, Ben Ewiak, John Ewiak and Brandon Herman; two dear friends who were more like second parents to him, Don and Marsha Wilkenson; and aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday, October 3rd, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday, October 4th at 11 am.
