Christine L. Mcclelland

Christine L. McClelland, age 68, of Erie, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Buck" McClelland, for whom she held a deep and enduring love.

Christine was a devoted mother to Amy (Harold), Robert, Stephen (Jessie), Ashley (Andrew), and Sarah. She was also a loving grandmother to Leyna (Daryl), Michelle, Braeden, Hailey, Daniel, Caleb, Eli, PJ, and Katie, and a proud great-grandmother to Sebastian. She is further survived by her brother, Charles Chandler; and sister, Cheryl Winslow.

Christine enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life, with passions that included spending time with her daughters, bowling, playing cards, gardening, sewing and crafting. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Christine's life was profoundly influenced by Rose Moorehead, whom she considered her true mother. Many of Christine's cherished memories include Rose, who preceded her in death, as well as her parents, Charles and Rita Chandler; brother, Charles Winslow; in-laws, Robert C. and Gladys McClelland; sister-in-law, Isavel McClelland; and brother-in-law, Ronald McClelland.

Christine's legacy of fiery spirit and fierce love will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved her.

Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christine's family through the funeral home.
