Cheryl L. Carver Knepper Obituary (1948 - 2022)

Cheryl L. Carver Knepper, 74, of Harborcreek, passed peacefully Saturday, July 16, 2022. Cheryl was born May 3, 1948, daughter of the late Alvah and Charlotte Beebe Carver. Cheryl graduated in 1966 from Harbor Creek High School and dedicated every day to being a wife, mother, and Gramma. A long-time member, she volunteered many hours at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, teaching religious education and coordinating vacation bible school and other children's programs. Cheryl also worked as the office manager of the Hamot Wellness Center. A gifted crafter, she enjoyed capturing her family memories with scrapbooking and creating homemade personalized cards for family and friends. Cheryl also spent hours chronicling her family's ancestry. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Rick Knepper; and three children to whom she devoted her life, Leslie Adrian (Anthony) of Alexandria, VA; Rich Knepper of Harborcreek, PA; and Kelly Knepper of Pittsburgh, PA. Her greatest joy was being Gramma to Madison and Isabel Kriegisch, Conner, Chloe, and Braeden Knepper, and Delaney, Luke, and Cole Adrian. Her life will be forever cherished by her sisters and brothers, Sandy Pettinato (Pat), Laura Myers (Kevin), Alvah Carver (Cathy), and Richard Carver (Kathi). Her husband's brother and sisters can't remember a time when she wasn't part of their family and they will miss her greatly, Robin Knepper (Candie), Donald Knepper (Jan), Lorie Glenn (Craig), Scott Knepper (Janine), and the late Regina Knepper and Jerry Knepper. Additionally, she is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Cheryl's signature farewell message to her family to be kept in our hearts was "alright, love you, behave." Friends may call at the Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5151 Buffalo Road (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.) on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy R.C.
