Arlene Williamson

–

Erie, Pennsylvania

On Monday, July 28, 2025, Heaven welcomed their earthly angel, Arlene L. Alberstadt Williamson. Born on January 23, 1942 in Erie, PA, Arlene graduated from McDowell High School in 1959. At the age of 40, she returned to school and earned her Medical Assistant Certificate. She worked in several medical offices in the area, welcoming patients with her warmth and kind smile.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Florence Froelich and William J. Alberstadt, Sr.; her husband, Richard Williamson; and her precious kitties, Patches and Whiskers.

After retirement in 2005, Arlene filled her days finding joy, spending time shopping with her daughter, Kathe, attending her grandsons' school and musical events – never missing one, and creating a home base filled with love and beauty. Arlene was a supreme host, providing her family with home cooked meals and was an unrivaled baker. She was the ultimate gardener, creating a haven for all living creatures.

Arlene is survived by her son, Daniel (Marianne) Ouellet; her daughter, Kathleen Ouellet; three grandsons, Mark, Joe and Jacob (Kristen); and her brothers, Rich and Bill. In addition, Arlene will be missed by extended family, Sherri O’Connell and Paul Ouellet.

The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab, who cared for Arlene during her last five years.
