Andrew J. Betag Obituary (1966 - 2018)

Andrew J. "Andy" Betag, age 52, of Erie passed away at his residence on Friday, June 22, 2018. He was born in Corry, PA on February 19, 1966, the son of Beverly Puckett Betag and the late Raymond Betag. Andy was a graduate of Girard High School and attended Alliance College. He enjoyed rock collecting, gardening and going to Presque Isle. Andy was a talented artist. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Betag. In addition to his mother, survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth Crowley of Bradenton, FL, Vivian Kujan of Girard and Patricia Wilson (Walter) of Jacksonville, FL; one niece, Nicole Kujan; one nephew, Timothy Shea; and good friend of 18 years, James White of Erie. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Road, on Tuesday from 4 pm until the time of the Memorial Service there at 6 pm, conducted by the Rev. Karen Thompson of Faith Lutheran Church. Private Interment will take place at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated to the charity of one's choice.
